Amersham Heritage Day attracts large crowds of adults and children to view the many and varied stands displaying drinks, food, arts and crafts, steam engines, vintage cars, music, dancing and other activities and interests.
Chilterns Prostate Cancer Support Group will have a stand in the High Street near the Museum where we hope to engage with the public and talk about Prostate Cancer to raise awareness of the disease. All the volunteers on the stand are either Prostate Cancer survivors or have close experience of the disease through relatives and friends. We talk openly about the disease from our own personal involvement. We are not medically qualified but we aim to be as helpful as we can. We cannot and do not give advice, but we can talk.
